When you contact us e.g. to buy a service, you accept our Data Protection Policy and our handling of your personal data. You also give your consent to Better Business to use electronic communication channels to send you information.

What kind of data do we collect and how do we use it?

We may combine the personal data that is collected in one way (e.g. at websites) with personal data we gather in an other way (e.g. in meetings, at exhibitions).

E.g. when you request information about our services or products, when you register for a newsletter, interact in our social media, buy from us, or when you contact us via e-mail, post, telephone or social media. This can be Personal- and contact information and/o Company information.

We store information that is relevant to enable us to fulfill contractual commitments towards your company and/or you as a representative for the company, and to follow applicable legislation. (note that we do not always necessarily collect all the data listed below:

– Personal- and contact data – name, title/position in the company, e-mail address, telephone number, what services/products/subjects you have showed interest for

– Company information – organisation number, invoice-, delivery-, and visiting address, bank/account number for the company 

- Information about products/services – details regarding the services and/or products you have bought/showed interest for

– Financial information – the company’s eventual credits, debts or negative payment history

– Historical information – the company’s previous purchases, payment and credit history

– Unit information – e.g. IP-address, language settings, webb browser settings, time zone, operating system, platform and screen resolution

– Graphic information – your geographic location

The information you give to us, the information that we collect, the information about the services and/or products, and the financial information, is generally necessary for establishing a business relation with us, while the other information we collect generally in necessary for other reasons, like described below.





Purpose with the information and the handling

All data are used for supplying, executing and improving our services. Better Business handles personal data for the following purposes based on legal grounds:

– To perform our contractual responsibilities towards you as representative for your company, we need to verify your identity, your personal data, and contact details, so we can confirm and quality assure the security settings for your authority to access our systems/services.

– 

To follow legislation, prevent fraud and money laundering, we need to register your company information, perform risk analysis, store statistics and payment history/solvency.

How will we share the information?



We may, to be able to perform our obligations to clients and other interest parties, export or share the information to third parties like suppliers or sub contractors, or service suppliers. We apply all reasonable, technical and organisational measures to assure that the personal data is handled securely and with adequate safeguard when transferring or sharing with such third party.

Authorities
We may have to share necessary information with the concerned authorities, if we are required by law, or if you have given your consent to this.

What we WILL NOT do with the information


Better Business will not share or sell the collected information to other third parties. 

Where do we handle your personal data?
Better Business handles the data within EU/EES. Better Business applies all reasonable legal, technical and organisational measures to assure that the data is handled securely and with an adequate security level. Better Business will not assign suppliers outside EU/EES without a written approval from the company.

How long time is the data stored?
We store the data as long as it is required for us to comply with the purpose for which the data was collected, or to comply with our commitments, and as long as it is required by law, specifically in regards to book keeping requirements.

Your right to access, correct and delete


– Access – You have the right to request a copy to verify that the information Better Business has about you is correct.

– Correct – You have the right to request correction of incorrect and incomplete data.

– The right to be forgotten – You have the right to request your personal data to be deleted, if the data is no longer required for the purpose it was collected.

However, there may be legal obligations that prevent us from immediately deleting some parts of the data. This can be requirements in the book keeping, or tax legislation. If so, we will block the data that we are required to store, from ability to be used for other purposes than complying with the legal requirements.
