At start-up the company had the goal of having two hundred Mystery Shoppers, today we have appx. 38.000 and have had to revise our goal several times over the years. We are currently aiming for 50.000 Mystery Shoppers before the year of 2010. Not such an unreasonable goal considering the increase of last year. What is Mystery Shopping? The evaluation could for instance be about service, filling degree, a campaign follow-up or other important areas for the company. Mystery Shopping can be performed in person, via e-mail, over the phone, mail or internet. The Mystery Shopper is carefully chosen to be able to pass as the common customer of the company. The Mystery Shopper can not do the same visit too frequently to avoid recognition or becoming too familiar with it to objectively see the surroundings.
